BMW Peabody SEO Project
As we are writing this case study, our work with BMW of Peabody is on 30 days old. We will be posting additional information on this new client in the coming months but we are very pleased to have Google Page One results in less than 30 days for the following phrases:

Our initial work has created over 100 phrases that place BMW of Peabody on Google Page One. This has been accomplished in approximately 30 days. The next step will be to continue to grow their HTML websites and external content that makes them the subject matter expert in their state.
Updates on June 28, 2008
The project scope has expanded due to the initial success of the organic search results. The dealer website now appears for most searches on the clients targeted keyword list for models and towns in his PMA.
Our consulting advice has resulted in better website designs and lead capture strategies. The client is seeing greater organic lead flow into the dealership and now we will be looking at how to optimize their pay per click campaigns.
The new HTML optimized websites are bringing and additional 300 visitors per day to their websites. This is 90 days after we started, and we expect this number to grow.
To date we have created a series of sub-domains off of the main domain, as follows:

- http://used.bmwpeabody.com
- http://service.bmwpeabody.com
- http://boston.bmwpeabody.com
These sub-domains have allowed us to create additional organic search strength by breaking the website into logical business units and optimizing the message on each sub-domain.
For example if you type into Google, "BMW X6 Boston" you will see both the main site www.bmwpeabody.com and http://lease.bmwpeabody.com on Page One. This is because all lease specials are posted on the lease sub-domain. This creates additional listings in Google search results which increases the visibility for this dealer in Massachusetts.

Company Information
BMW of Peabody is located in Essex County Massachusetts and is part of the Lyon-Waugh group of car dealers.
We were first contacted by BMW of Peabody in March 2008. Peabody General Manager Marshal Cabot had spoken with one of our existing BMW clients in Southern California and they highly recommended that Marshal call us for Internet Marketing. Our client made the introductions and our first conversations were focused on strategies to increase direct consumer sales leads.

Scope of Work
Once we had an opportunity to review their website architecture we knew that we could help them increase their organic visibility, Their existing website platform was not optimized for search marketing and was actually hindering their efforts to be found on the Internet.
We were tasked to improve their Internet visibility for: new car sales, used car sales, and their BMW service department.

Summary
We started by creating some clean HTML sub-domains for their business while we worked with their existing web platform to implement the basic SEO structure that will help their original site succeed. - We also issued a number of strategic press releases which instantly gave them some targeted marketing boosts.
- We are very pleased with the success we have had in the first 30 days and we will update the specific progress in the coming months.
